Another pretty solid week is in the books.  It included a drunken nighttime run and an epic 11 mile quest for a restroom.  Who says running is boring?

Monday AM: 2 miles 8:23 pace on treadmill + full body strength training

Monday PM: 2 miles at 6:50 pace in the dark, all alone

Tuesday PM: 5 miles with Alice at 10:37 pace

Wednesday AM: 2 miles 8:23 pace on treadmill + full body strength training

Wednesday PM: 6×400 m with Alice.  Total 4 miles. Avg pace 10:41

Thursday AM: 6 miles with Richie at 8:23 pace

Thursday PM: 4 miles with Alice at 10:14 pace

Friday AM: 5 miles with Alice at 9:51 pace

Saturday AM: 10.9 miles with Richie and Justin at 9:20 pace (includes restroom stops)

Sunday AM: 6 miles with Alice at 11:02 pace

Total: 46.9

Next week is my last week of only easy pace runs.  Where has the time gone?  I’ll be cutting the mileage back just slightly (no long run) and running a midnight 5K at the end of the week!  I don’t mind staying up late since I’ll actually get to sleep in both days of the weekend (maybe even three since it’s a holiday weekend).

Another midnight run in the words? Awesome!

You did have a very interesting week of runs, to say the least. Made for some good reading!

Solid week Brian! And I loved the Restroom Relay. It’s refreshing to see it doesn’t happen to only me!

Waiting until midnight for a race sounds kinda good in this heat!

Working is really cramping my style of sleeping in! Good week of runs! Good luck in the midnight run!
