Merry Xmas, if that’s your thing

I’m not due at any relatives homes today until 2:00 PM, so I headed out for a quick 4 miles this morning.  The hills are really starting to make my knees sore.  I know this is good exercise, but all the same I’ll be glad to have a week back on the flat sidewalks of Florida before the marathon.

My heart rate hit 195 while I was charging up a hill today and that’s the highest I’ve ever recorded with my Garmin by about 10 BPM.  I’m not sure if it was accurate or not.  All in all, things went well today, but I’ll probably take tomorrow off and then do 12 miles on Friday.
