With thoughts of control, I set out on my 6 mile run today.  This week, I ran my first mile in 9:34 as opposed to last week, when I ran the first mile in 9:13.  The result?  43 seconds.  Today, I ran 6 miles in 53:26, compared to last week’s 54:09….or if you want to go really vintage, we can go back to July 18th, when I ran 5.72 miles in 66:26.
